How to Use a Pen?
Medical Express products are supplied strictly as research materials. Use the guidance below to support clean handling, traceability, and protocol-first lab workflows.
1
Step 1
Hand Hygiene Before Starting
Before you begin, thoroughly wash your hands with soap and hot water and ensure that they are dry.
2
Step 2
Choose Your Injection Site
Firstly, choose the area of skin you feel most comfortable using for the injection. slimQuick® is a subcutaneous injection, meaning that it is injected into the fat beneath the surface of the skin. Most people choose to use the area 3–4 inches either side of the navel (tummy button), but you can also use the upper arm or upper thigh.
3
Step 3
Prepare the Injection Site
To prepare the area of skin chosen for the injection, first swab the area to clean and dry. Take an alcohol swab (sold separately) and clean the chosen area thoroughly before allowing it to dry.
4
Step 4
Select the Correct Dose
Once the needle cap is fitted, simply twist the dial at the other end of the pen to select the required dose.
DOSE: (20MG PEN ONLY FOR 40MG PLEASE REFER TO THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOX)
- 2.5 mg = 2.5 mg (37 clicks) on your pen

Important:
DO NOT twist the dial until you are ready to administer a dose.

Step 5
Administer the Injection
“Tirzepatide can be stored at room temperature for 21 days at a time.”
With one hand, pinch the chosen area of skin between your fingers. With the other hand, press the slimQuick® pen firmly against the fold of skin so that the needle enters and is pushed all the way in.
6
Step 6
Complete the Injection
Finally, press and hold the button at the opposite end of the slimQuick® pen and wait for 5–10 seconds to allow the solution to fully disperse.
7
Step 7
After the Injection
A tiny spot of blood can occur and is totally normal. If necessary, hold a cotton wool pad or similar against the spot for a few seconds until it stops bleeding.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Medical Express Multi-Pen?
Medical Express Tirzepatide is a pen injection product containing a minimum of 20 mg of lab-tested certified Tirzepatide. The Tirzepatide in the Medical Express Multi-Pen is conveniently pre-mixed with bacteriostatic water, so there is no need for any complicated calculations. This also reduces the risk of dosing errors. The slimQuick® system allows you to simply twist the dial on the pen to select your required dosage, minimizing the chance of mistakes during dosage selection.
2. How does Medical Express Multi-Pen work?
Medical Express (Tirzepatide) works by mimicking the action of two hormones naturally produced within the small intestine after eating — GIP and GLP-1. This dual action makes Medical Express stand out from other weight-loss medications on the market, which typically only have a single mechanism of action.
It works by:
• Slowing down digestion, helping you feel fuller for longer
• Sending signals to the brain to reduce appetite and food cravings
• Helping the pancreas release insulin, lowering blood sugar levels and supporting appetite control
The hardest part of losing weight is sticking to a diet. Without dietary compliance, no amount of exercise alone will result in weight loss. Medical Express Multi-Pen helps you stick to your diet plan and reduces feelings of constant hunger. It also helps curb late-night cravings that can easily undo your efforts.
3. How to dose Medical Express Multi-Pen
It is recommended that all users begin their journey with the “introduction dose” of 2.5 mg per week. Users typically remain on this introductory dose for 3–4 weeks. This starting dose allows your body to get used to Tirzepatide and helps assess tolerance before increasing the dosage. While most side effects are mild (such as nausea or fatigue), adverse reactions are extremely uncommon. We recommend that you take time to allow your body to adjust to the medication before progressing to a higher dose.
Once you feel ready to proceed to the next dosage, it is recommended increasing the dosage scale in steps of 2.5 mg per week. After starting at 2.5 mg per week, the next dose would be 5 mg per week. You should remain at this dose for 3–4 weeks to assess how you feel and to check for any possible side effects. The maximum medically safe dose is considered to be 15 mg per week, but it is extremely rare for anyone to require this amount. In their experience, the average effective dose is between 7.5 mg and 10 mg per week. There is usually no need to continue increasing the dosage every few weeks unless you are no longer experiencing the positive effects of Tirzepatide. It’s important to pay close attention to how your body feels at each dosage level and to monitor your progress carefully. Remember: maintaining a healthy diet with appropriate calorie intake and engaging in regular physical activity will significantly enhance your weight-loss results while using Tirzepatide.
4. What can you expect from Tirzepatide?
The main positive effects you can expect from using Tirzepatide include:
• Feeling full for longer periods
• Feeling satisfied from smaller portions of food
• Reduced cravings, particularly for sugary foods
It’s difficult to answer the question, “How much weight will I lose?” Every person is different — weight loss rates and activity levels vary widely. There are too many factors involved for anyone to provide an exact answer. However, in medical studies, participants lost up to 8% of their total body weight during the first 6–8 weeks of using Tirzepatide. In tests conducted prior to the release of SlimQuick, testers lost slightly more than this average. While results vary based on individual goals and effort, one consistent outcome reported by SlimQuick users was that they were very satisfied with their personal results. Nearly all those who participated said that Tirzepatide worked even better than expected and that they would gladly use it again in the future.
5. Is Medical Express (Tirzepatide) safe?
Tirzepatide was licensed for use as a weight-loss medication in the UK as of November 2023. While generally considered safe, Tirzepatide is still a relatively new medication. Users should always seek the advice and guidance of a qualified healthcare professional before starting treatment. Tirzepatide supplied by Medical Express is for research use only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
6. Side effects
As with any medication, there are potential side effects that can occur. The most common side effects include:
• Upset stomach
• Loose stools (diarrhea)
• Feelings of nausea
These side effects are typically mild and tend to subside within a few days. Most users report that any initial discomfort fades quickly as the body adjusts to the medication.
Adverse effects, while extremely uncommon, can occur. If you experience severe symptoms, please contact your healthcare specialist immediately. From extensive testing of SlimQuick, compared to other available weight-loss products, SlimQuick users experience only mild side effects that are short-lived and easily manageable.
7. Who shouldn’t use Medical Express Multi-Pen (Tirzepatide)?
There are certain medications that may cause possible interactions with SlimQuick (Tirzepatide), including:
• Certain birth control pills
• Certain diabetes medications
• Warfarin
• Carbamazepine
• Digoxin
• Adderall
Individuals with a family history of Medullary Thyroid Cancer (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2 (MEN 2) should not use Tirzepatide, as it may increase the risk of thyroid cancer. Always consult your healthcare professional before use if you are taking other medications or have any medical conditions.
8. How to store Medical Express Tirzepatide
Once you remove your Tirzepatide pen(s) from its packaging, it is recommended that you store it in a refrigerator immediately. Ensure the temperature is maintained between 2°C and 8°C. These pens can last up to 30 days outside of the refrigerator at room temperature. Keep your Medical Express product(s) refrigerated at all times, except when in use. Refrigeration helps preserve the quality of the Tirzepatide contained within the pen. If exposed to heat, the medication’s effectiveness may be reduced. If there isn’t enough room in your refrigerator for the full box, place the pen(s) inside a sealed sandwich bag to keep them clean and dry. Do NOT freeze your Medical Express pen(s). It is not necessary to refrigerate your needle caps or alcohol wipes. Please keep all items out of reach of children and dispose of used needle caps responsibly.
9. How to dose Medical Express Tirzepatide above 5 mg
Dosing Protocol:
• Start with 2.5 mg once a week for the first 4 weeks.
• If your doctor deems it necessary, increase the dose to 5 mg once weekly after the first 4 weeks.
The Medical Express Tirzepatide pen can deliver doses of up to 5 mg. For doses higher than 5 mg, you will need to adjust your dosing regimen by using the pen a second time. For example:
• For 7.5 mg, inject 5 mg (one full dose), then adjust the pen to 2.5 mg for a second injection.
• For 10 mg, inject 5 mg (one full dose), then adjust the pen to 5 mg for a second injection.
